Painting has been Enrique's life's work. Lately he has been building spherical glass mosaics too — a newer, smaller body of work in the same green, blue, and white.
Mosaic Spheres Recent
A newer direction — hand-cut glass tiles set one by one onto fiberglass forms, building spheres that hold light like water.

The artist
From Havana to Miami
Born in Cuba in the 1950s and drawn to making art as a boy, Enrique came to the United States as a young man and never looked back. Painting has been his life's work ever since; the mosaic spheres are a recent turn.
